2 Philosophers Discuss Academic Philosophy
In our most recent YouTube upload, I was joined by two prominent philosophers, Dr Aaron Simmons (Furman University) and Dr. Bob Hanna (Director of the Contemporary Kantian Project) to discuss the direction of academic philosophy and the projection of analytic philosophy.
Both Dr. Simmons, engaging with continental philosophy, and Dr. Hanna, a proponent of Kantian futurism, have been critical of both professional philosophy as well as analytic philosophy. Thus, this discussion is an interesting inquiry into this topic.
